Kevin Thomas
Kevin Thomas is a seasoned international educator and school leader with over 25 years of experience in teaching and leadership. He began his career in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and has since worked in international schools across Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Bangladesh, and Tunisia. Most recently, Kevin served for seven years as the Secondary School Principal at the American Cooperative School of Tunis. Prior to this role, he was the IBDP Coordinator and Assistant Principal at his previous school.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kevin is married to Pascale Thomas, an international school counselor. Together, they have raised three children—now young adults—who attended international schools and are currently pursuing higher education in the United States.
Kevin is passionate about health and well-being and starts each day with yoga and regular runs. An avid reader, he is currently exploring The Coaching Habit by Michael Bungay Stanier and is particularly interested in the power of asking “What’s next?” as a leadership tool.
Kevin is excited to join the Canadian International School as High School Principal. He found the students, teachers, and leaders he met during the interview process to be warm, passionate, and welcoming. He looks forward to becoming part of the CIS community and contributing to its mission to nurture, challenge, and empower. Kevin and Pascale are also eager to immerse themselves in Indian culture, particularly the vibrant community around Bengaluru.
