Simple steps to admit your child into CIS
Step 1: Inquiry
Please use the link below to submit your enquiry form and set up your admissions account. Once you create your account, you can complete the admissions forms and upload documents to your student’s dashboard.
Step 2:
Schedule Your School Visit
We are open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 3 pm. Our appointments take about 1.5 hours.
Once you submit the application details we require, the admissions office will send you information to schedule your family conversation and school tour. During your visit to our campus, we will go over information about the school, our faculty, and what a typical school day looks like. We will provide you with a curriculum overview as well. We will take you around our school and, if we can, have you meet teachers to answer any questions you have.
Please give us 2 days’ notice to schedule this visit for you and plan to spend about 1.5-2 hours with us. Please also bring your child/ren’s past two years reports with you for us to look over. Wear comfortable shoes!
For families applying long distance, do take the virtual school tour on our website and feel free to call us with any questions you may have. You may also drop by after you arrive in Bangalore if the school has not begun yet.
Step 3:
Schedule Shadow Days (KG)/Entrance Test (Grade 1-11)
Once we have met or corresponded with your family, the next step is for you to send us a date when you will be able to come for the Observation period (for Kindergarten to Grade 2) or an Entrance Test (Grades 3-11) at CIS.
For families applying long distance, Entrance Tests (Grades 3-10) can be conducted at the current school your child(ren) are attending.
For Kindergarten parents applying long distance, we require signing a confirmation that the Kindergarten Admission Guidelines are met. Upon arrival, based on those admissions guidelines and with the help of feedback from his teachers after 2 weeks in class, CIS reserves the right to ask the child to join later if he or she is deemed not ready for CIS.
Please note: the Application Fee is $200 per child and can be paid via wire, card, or cheque.
Step 4:
Notification of Admission
CIS will notify you of your application status about two weeks after the Observation day or Entrance Test.
Step 5:
Application Accepted
Once your application is accepted, the Admissions office will send you an acceptance letter. Our Finance Department will send you the invoice for a registration fee of $2000 dollars to hold your seat.
Step 6:
Documents and Tuition Due
Please submit all remaining documents and pay the first term tuition fee before school starts.
