Collaborates with: Various teams including but not limited to Communications and Events Officer, Admissions/Marketing Executive, Purchasing Team, Facilities Team, Admissions Team
Position Overview
The Marketing Manager at Canadian International School, Bangalore, is a strategic and creative position responsible for elevating the school’s brand presence both locally and globally. You will serve as the Creative Lead, overseeing the visual and narrative identity of CIS across all touchpoints—from digital screens to the physical campus environment.
This role requires a unique blend of data-driven strategy and high-level creative execution. You will work in close coordination with the Head of Admissions and the Communications and Events Officer to ensure that every internal announcement, external campaign, and physical installation is polished, impactful, and aligned with the school’s core values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Leadership & Creative Direction
- Act as the Creative Lead for all school-wide projects, ensuring brand consistency in voice, tone, and visual aesthetics.
- Oversee the production of all marketing collateral (brochures, prospectuses, and digital assets).
- Review and approve internal and external communications to ensure they meet the high standards of the CIS brand.
2. Campus Branding & Signage Oversight
- Wayfinding & Info: Direct the design and installation of informational signage across campus to ensure a seamless experience for students, parents, and visitors.
- Environmental Branding: Lead the creative execution of large-scale branding installations (wall graphics, banners, and commemorative plaques) that reflect the school’s spirit and history.
- Maintenance: Audit physical signage periodically to ensure all branding remains modern, high-quality, and structurally sound.
3. Event Management & Coordination
- In partnership with the Communications and Events Officer, lead the marketing strategy for major school events (Open Days, Graduation, and International Fairs).
- Ensure high visibility and professional branding at all event venues through physical setups and digital promotion.
Additional Preferred Skills Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Performance Marketing: Design and manage SEO/SEM strategies and PPC campaigns to drive admissions inquiries.
- Social Media: Strategy development and oversight for platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
- Content Creation: Guide the creation of engaging video content and photography that highlights the "CIS Experience."
Website & Traditional Media
- Website Management: Serve as the primary custodian of the school website, ensuring content is updated and optimized for conversions.
- Traditional Ads: Manage print media placements, outdoor advertising (OOH), and radio spots.

Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and CMS (WordPress), Adobe Business Suite, AI for print and visual/audio media |
