IB Diploma Programme

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at Canadian International School (CIS) is a balanced and transformative educational experience for students aged 16–19. It is globally recognised by universities for its academic rigour and focus on holistic development.

At CIS, we nurture each student's potential by encouraging their intellectual, emotional and ethical growth. The IBDP challenges students to expand their knowledge and skillset, preparing them for the demands of higher education and beyond. Through personalised learning experiences, we empower our students to thrive in an ever-evolving global environment, equipped with the resilience and leadership skills necessary for success.

Learn how the IBDP at CIS empowers students to think critically, lead confidently, and engage globally. In this video, you'll hear from our former IBDP Coordinator as he shares an overview of the program structure, subject selection, and the unique support CIS offers throughout the IB journey.

📌 The current IBDP Coordinator’s message will be available here shortly — thank you for your patience.

Why CIS is the Preferred Choice for Families?

Mr. and Mrs. Kambampati
Parents of ES and HS students

"We’ve seen how open and informal the relationships are between students and teachers at CIS. Our children feel comfortable approaching their teachers, engaging in conversations that go beyond academics. It’s clear they’re being nurtured in a supportive environment, and we believe the international curriculum plays a big role in encouraging that."

Mr. and Mrs. Mehta
Parents of HS student

"We’re incredibly grateful for the all-round development we’ve seen in our children. The nurturing environment at CIS has helped them build life skills, confidence, and independence—far beyond academics. It’s the kind of growth we wish we had during our own school days."

Ms. Camaron Vallepalli
Former Parent

"CIS is truly international—through its faculty, students, and curriculum. Our children built friendships with peers from around the world, and the experience has been deeply enriching for our whole family. CIS offers a truly global learning environment."
